How can T-1 provide such high quality at such low rates?
T-1 purchases calling time for thousands of individuals and companies each month at large, wholesale volume. We then pass along those savings to our users along with the very best quality lines and reliability.

I am concerned about the line quality of such a low cost service.
There is no need to worry about line quality. T-1 only uses the fibre optic lines of the largest, most reliable Type I carriers in Japan.

Are there any other charges other than for the calls I make?
No there are not. We only bill for the calls you make. If you need hard copies of the monthly billing statements, we ask for Y200 to cover mailing and handling.

Can I use T-1 from anywhere in Japan?
Yes you can. T-1 services are like any other national carrier. You can dial our 4 digit national dialing code from any fixed line, cellular or PHS phone.
International Daling : 00XX + country code + number
Domestic Dialing : 00XX + complete domestic number

 

Can I use T-1 from my cell phone or PHS phone to dial internationally?
Yes you can. Again you simply dial : 00XX + country code + number .

 

Is it more expensive if I call to a cell phone overseas from my fixed line?
No it is not. You get the same great T-1 rate. Please remember that fixed line rates and cellular - PHS calling rates are not the same.

 

How long has T-1 been providing these services?
We have been providing services since1993.

 

Can I register my fax number too?
Definitely! You can use T-1 to make big saving from all your telephone lines.

 

Do I have to cancel "My Line" services if I register with T-1?
No you do not. T-1 provides national services and is not connected to the My Line program. You do not have to dial 122 before using T-1 either.

 

I have the Yahoo! BB phone. Can I use T-1 too.?
Yes you can! Simply dial the Yahoo! BB phone disable code 0000 (zero 4 times) then dial T-1AO 4 digit code.

 

I have an ISDN line. Can I use T-1 too?
Yes you can.However, you must register both numbers on your ISDN line in order to use T-1 services.

 

The company lines are connected to a PBX. Can we all use T-1 too?
Yes you can. However, you need to register the main number as well as all the sub numbers to get T-1 savings for all calls coming out of the company.

 

Can I use T-1 with my Cable TV phone line?
You can use it when calling internationally. Unfortunately, you can not use it to call domestically at this time with T-1.

 

Can I use the number 186 or 184 to show or hide my telephone number?H
You can use this function from a fixed line phone. However, you can not use it from a cellular or PHS phone.

Does T-1 have television conferencing?
T-1 does not have television conferencing at this time.

 

Can I call from public phones using T-1?
You are not able to use T-1 from a public phone at this time.

 

Can I use a prepaid cellular phone with T-1?
You are not able to use prepaid cellular phones with T-1 as prepaid systems require you use there higher priced services.

 

Can I use T-1 when I go overseas?
T-1 does not provide overseas travellign services at this time.

 

Can I call Toll Free numbers in other countries calling from Japan with T-1?
You can call Toll Free numbers in other countries, but your calls are not free.
For example, when calling a Toll Free number in the USA ( 1-800-XXXX-XXXX)
you would be charged 1.5 yen per every 6 seconds.

 

Can I make collect calls or operator asisted calls with T-1?
T-1 does not provide these services at this time.

 

Can I use T-1 with when overseas calling from my cellular phone?
You can not use T-1 from overseas calling from your cellular phone at this time.

 

I want to confirm the calls I made with a print out copy from T-1.
You can print out your details directly from the internet or we will mail you a copy for the postage and handling charge of Y200.

 

How do I confirm my monthly statements right now on the internet.
Simply go to the T-1 website ( http://www.t-1.co.jp ) and click on ( 24Hr. On-line Details & Billing ) .
You wiAIl be able to view any calls you made in the last 6 months. If you need details even farther back then that, please contact using the CONTACT form. (Also check how to set your browser to "accept cookies" below.)
